A few words about FatesCrossed v0.2.4 for public release.

I’ve wrapped up work on FatesCrossed v0.2.6, so now I’m ready to focus on polishing up the stable 0.2.4 version.

This patch falls into the story update category since it continues Elice’s quest and delves deeper into the universe’s lore. I’ll be trying to explain some things, but… based on what I gathered from my fellow devs who did the first test run, let’s just say they were a bit confused by everything going on—too complex, too unclear.

And honestly, I get it. I’m throwing you straight into a whirlwind of unfamiliar terms and discussions about things you haven’t encountered yet. But don’t worry—there will be plenty of explanations, especially about Elice. Of course, that also means new questions will arise.

So why am I telling you this? Well, if you enjoy piecing together theories and figuring out what’s really going on in this world, you’re gonna have plenty to chew on. If that’s not your thing, though, don’t stress—just go with the flow. I’ll explain everything as the story unfolds.

No need to overthink it—just chill and enjoy the ride!

Changes:

• The penalty for not completing homework and library assignments has been reduced from 5 to 2.
• The protagonist's icon has been changed.
• The game menu has been changed.

New Additions:

• Added the ability to talk to the supermarket vendor directly without needing to make a purchase.
• A new skin for Elice has been added.
• One new NSFW smartphone wallpaper has been added.
• One new SFW smartphone wallpaper has been added.
• One new free smartphone wallpaper has been added. (To unlock it, use the same code as the promo code from the Valentines Adult Games Bundle.)
• A new scene has been added to the scene gallery with all event variations. (Choices and relationships from the gallery do not affect the story.)

Summary:

• 1 big scene (385 renders).
• 1 medium scenes (56 renders).
• 2–3 small scenes (32–35 renders)
